Pros

Some of the people are nice

Cons

Company as a whole: Seems like almost everyone is a white male. They don’t seem to value or practice diversity racially or gender wise. Management: Seems almost all white male Yearly meeting: a billion dollar company that assignsCOWORKERS TO SHARE HOTEL ROOMS FOR A WEEK. The hotel outside of Las Vegas resembled a foreclosed property from the recession. The meeting in Miami ran out of food at one meal. If you don’t work in the actual Perkin Elmer headquarters building in Waltham, MA then you miss out on most of the corporate culture. Many times, you have no contact with the company outside of your manager. HR tells you to go to management to “discuss” these issue. Management tells you to go to HR. Marketing leaves a lot to be desired.

Pros

Used to be a wonderful place to work before being bought out.

Cons

There is no feeling of teamwork anymore. Management could be quite nasty and favoritism ran high. New manager seemed to like running things like it was a third world country.
