Pros
First starting off with company was very good, they would listen to your opinion, was "family orientated", You had some freedom to do what was right for the store/company/customers. Pay was average to a little above for the responsibilities. vacation time was nice, started off with more then most companies.
Cons
Upper management, they want truth from you yet they are not truthful with you. Inconsistent from one store to another on policies and procedures. You might get nothing for breaking a policy where another manager might get fired. HR is a joke, takes the side of upper management or hourly associates all the time, guilty until you prove them wrong, then it is a witch hunt for you cause you called them out, NO OPEN DOOR POLICY which so ever, even though they will talk till they are blue in the face about how supportive the upper management and hr teams are. DM was not supportive, all about them, what we can do for them, make them look good. Poorly managed company the last couple of years, mainly in the mid corporate management level.
