Pros
• Worked with incredibly talented, collaborative colleagues who consistently delivered high-quality results. • Remote work enabled strong productivity, focus, and better work-life balance, until it was abruptly taken away by NEW CEO. • Projects and workflows were often challenging in a good way, offering opportunities to grow skills and take ownership.
Cons
• Senior leadership made questionable strategic decisions, especially around return-to-office policies. • RTO was enforced in a one-size-fits-all manner, with no regard for performance, role type, or location. • The policy seemed less about collaboration and more about control, leading to unnecessary turnover and career disruption. • There was a general lack of transparency and empathy from upper management. Decisions that impacted people’s lives were made unilaterally, with little to no communication. • Morale has declined significantly due to inconsistent priorities and a clear disconnect between leadership and teams doing the actual work. • Many talented people were either pushed out or left voluntarily, not because of performance issues, but because they could no longer tolerate the arbitrary enforcement of outdated office norms.
