Pros
-Generous PTO -Decent Salary (if you're an outside hire) -Pretty good discounts
Cons
-Very disorganized company. They never know what they want to do and how they want to do it. -Becoming very political. Outside hires in key positions, Territory GM's and District GM's, from already struggling companies being brought in and are running off alot of talent that's been around for a long time. If you get hired and happen to be liked by the DGM, you should be fine. But if they get the slightest dislike for you, you're toast. -No Loss Prevention presence whatsoever, nor are you able to terminate employees for major policy infractions. Had to give an employee a slap on the wrist for stealing hundreds of dollars with zero support from DGM and LP. -Store nearby lose their GM? Better hope they find a replacement quickly or else you'll be running two stores with zero support or help from your DGM for up to 6 months. -Oh you are running two stores for months? Better make sure both stores look absolutely perfect or you'll be "held accountable". And by that I mean subjected to intimidation, bogus write ups, having your job and livelihood threatened every time your DGM shows up. -All of these things along with the normal retail complaints you run into. Lack of payroll, training is terrible, work/life balance rough at times. If you've been a retail manager at all you know to expect these things. But this company is becoming extremely toxic and unethical. Tenured GM's are dropping like flies while toxic DGM's only continue to be promoted because they're tight with the Territory GM. They're restructuring the company now, adding tons of new field positions that will eventually lead to mass layoffs later this year and the stores payroll being slashed even more. -If you absolutely need a job to feed your family, try it. They'll feed you lies at the Leadership Summit, make all kinds of promises then suddenly forget them. You've been warned.
