Pros

The great people and flexibility It was good before it went public. It was all downhill from there.

Cons

One team is just an excuse to do other people's work and carry the dead weight. There is very limited training. There's some serious bullying and misconduct that upper management just close their eyes to. Internal communication is a joke. Nobody knows what's going on at any given time and products and projects get reshuffled every other week without notice. There are too many tools to juggle with, which create bottle necks for our sales team and our resellers. If you identify problems within the company it's interpreted as a "great of you to volunteer to fix it on top of your day to day job" The company strategy changes every 6 month and the communication is just about the pillars without translating them into actionnable tasks to get there.

I am sincerely sorry to hear that your experience with Pexip thus far has not been up to your expectations. You are right though, Pexip is going through a time of change and we are refocusing our organizational strategy and our hope in the next 6 months is that it offers clarity on where we are going as a company and can refocus the team. The leadership team is working hard at fixing our internal communication gaps and we have a plan in place to remove any barriers going forward. The remote work option leaves the office with minimal people most of the time

Yes, Pexip allows employees to work in a hybrid environment that best suits their working needs which has created less traffic in the office. Pros

I had some really amazing people who took time to help me be successful in my role. The benefits are amazing and the ability to work remote is nice as well. Also, they take you on some nice trips!

Cons

Their can be a very clique vibe when you do attend something onsite and it can feel like there is some sort of favoritism for employees who go to the office. There are people who quietly do that job well and aren’t really noticed and others who make sure to rub elbows with the right people as much as possible to advance their careers and it appears to work quite well at Pexip. The company also hired a lot of people in 2021 and in 2022 let a lot of employees go. They did one set of lay offs and assured the rest of us their were not going to be anymore lay offs. Shortly after that they were laying off people here and there and then in November did another massive layoff.

You are right, we did grow our teams in 2021 and 2022 and during that growth period, followed growing pains that Pexip had to navigate and manage.
