Pros

Laid back environment in some areas, tea and coffee in break room, some good people who work hard People are nice for the most part and pharmacists aren’t mean to techs like they are in retail

Cons

Management sucks, upper management is ok but supervisors aren’t. A couple supervisors are nice to your face but laugh at you behind your back and tell lies but don’t do much work or training. Another supervisor is ok but seems like intimidated by upper management. Everyone gossips and culture isn’t healthy. Techs in order entry room are bullied and causes them to be in a bad mood. Floor techs aren’t paid enough though but more than retail paid and less stress. It feels like floor techs get everything dumped on us because newer employees aren’t being trained in order entry and wait on one Person who knows how to do their work to be free to get our labels out because supervisors won’t do it or train. Management doesn’t listen to employees in general and upper management is clueless and continues to let a certain supervisor lead the floor into the ground But other supervisors won’t stand up to them or report anything even when we have all complained. No room to move up really.

Pros

What stands out most is the organization’s clear commitment to improving long-term care pharmacy services—not just operationally, but in how care is delivered to patients. There is a strong focus on quality, patient safety, and continuous improvement, which makes the work both meaningful and impactful. Leadership is engaged and forward-thinking, with a genuine emphasis on building strong teams and empowering individuals to contribute. I’ve especially appreciated the collaborative environment and the ability to make a real difference while helping shape processes and outcomes. PharMerica is also investing in its people—creating opportunities for growth, development, and innovation across roles. For anyone looking to be part of a team that is evolving, values accountability, and is focused on delivering better care, this is a great place to build a career. Overall, a dynamic and purpose-driven organization with a strong future ahead.

Pros

One of the things that interests me most about PharMerica is the opportunity to support patients in long-term care settings while continuing to grow professionally. I appreciate that the company offers career development opportunities, educational support, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient care. With my background in pharmacy and customer service, I believe I can contribute to providing accurate, compassionate service while continuing to learn and grow within the organization.

Cons

Some employees have reported challenges with management communication or consistency in leadership styles. As with many large organizations, experiences can vary by location and department. Having clear communication and a supportive manager can make a significant difference in the work
