Pros
you will get all the overtime you want because employees are jumping ship left and right. you will never be required to use critical thinking or logic. getting things done the quickest and most efficient way is frowned upon.
Cons
management has no desire to improve their processes. employees are allowed to complete their tasks however they want (even if that means it’s being done wrong or it creates more work for someone else). half of your coworkers are illiterate (you’ll be guessing the meaning of made-up words…often). pharmacists act like children, want you to hold their hand and walk them through finding a prescription that was already placed in tote (the only skills required to complete this task: reading the name of the facility, and then locating the label on a shelf) the “lead” has zero management skills and is too scared to even organize a weekly huddle because “she can’t talk in front of people”. if you are smart, you wont fit in here. if you have a good work ethic, you wont fit in here. if you want to excel in your career, you wont fit in here. if you want to actually LEARN, you wont fit in here. if you take pride in producing QUALITY work, you will absolutely not fit in here. after a month here you’ll realize why the tech in training program exists…some ppl are just too dumb for college. so if you want your tech license and you have ANY intelligence at all…just go to college because you won’t fit in here ;)
