Pros

Only a few good coworkers that made this place a little bit more tolerant, but the fact is we were all struggling.

Cons

Management is unhelpful if not absent, literally. A lot of unprofessional people hired in this company due to desperation, some aren’t qualified or shouldn’t be. No system or training so there’s constant tension and disorganization between shifts. Morning shift is completely entitled and lazy, barely any help even for themselves! Night shift ends up picking up the slack and goes home at unpredictable times every single night. If you don’t sacrifice your schedule or your well-being, other coworkers talk behind your back. Some employees have exhibited discriminatory behavior towards others and just plain disrespect in general, and they get away with it. Retail is bad but this is worst. Employee turnover rate is pretty high, only a few people have been here for more than a year, and everyone else quits due to toxic workplace environment and conditions, both techs AND pharmacists. There is a constant revolving door here and it makes sense. If you’re sick of retail, apply somewhere else, not here.

Pros

Treat their employees very well. Good overall benefit package.

Cons

Changed PTO policy after I started and I lost PTO hours that I had been promised at hire. Lots of meetings that could be emails.

Pros

One of the things that interests me most about PharMerica is the opportunity to support patients in long-term care settings while continuing to grow professionally. I appreciate that the company offers career development opportunities, educational support, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient care. With my background in pharmacy and customer service, I believe I can contribute to providing accurate, compassionate service while continuing to learn and grow within the organization.

Cons

Some employees have reported challenges with management communication or consistency in leadership styles. As with many large organizations, experiences can vary by location and department. Having clear communication and a supportive manager can make a significant difference in the work
