Pros

Total compensation (benefits, bonus) is strong, very competitive.

Cons

Cost controls and managing EPS have become hallmarks of the Finance function. The current environment is very much a quarter-by-quarter financial statement focus, with very little attention to long-term employee development and retention (apparently, such initiatives are viewed as too expensive for a corporate cost center).
