Pros
Benefits package and compensation is generally good compared to other employers within the 6 surrounding counties although the other major health systems such as Tift, Archibold, and South Georgia Regional all pay about the same. The benefits outside of direct compensation are good most importantly the gym. Technology is also advance and ahead in some respects to other similar sized facilities although the quality of care should be higher considering their market power.
Cons
Leadership at the top level appeared to be disconnected from the rest of the organization and the community itself. Bad reputation between the community served and hospital will always be a issue unless addressed at top levels. Also pay evaluation should be equal, those qualified will sometimes be offered less just because the organization believes the added duties do not qualify for the raise in pay.
