Phorest has quite a small engineering team which is really great for a developer as you can get involved in all aspects of product development from being involved in initial feature design, right down to deployments and monitoring. There are no strict policies on technologies / processes, it is left up to the team to decide on what they think is best for the product. Phorest encourage learning on the job, giving developers training, providing books, access to conferences and encouraging developers to be involved in local meetups. There is no micro managing at Phorest but there is always support and guidance from team members. Overall Phorest is a great company to work for!
