Pros

They’re good at picking professional employees, never any issue with my colleagues.

Cons

Benefits are expensive compared to similar companies. The work environment is highly reactive, with frequent “fire drills” and shifting priorities that can contribute to burnout and long hours. Workloads can become difficult to manage due to the volume of responsibilities assigned to individual employees. Many roles require constant context switching between clients, meetings, operational issues, reporting, follow-ups, and urgent requests, which can make it difficult to work proactively or efficiently. While healthcare is constantly evolving, many operational and process changes seem to occur without sufficient planning, structure, or communication. Expectations, workflows, responsibilities, and scope can change frequently with limited clarity or consistency. Employees are often expected to adapt to evolving responsibilities with limited training, structure, or transition planning. Communication from upper management is one of the company’s biggest challenges. Employees are often given unclear direction, and follow-through on commitments can be inconsistent. There appears to be a disconnect at times between leadership expectations and the operational capacity and resources available to teams. Performance expectations and metrics can also change frequently, making it difficult for employees to feel aligned on priorities and success measures. The staff itself is hardworking and professional, but retention appears to be an ongoing issue, leading to high turnover and instability across teams. The culture can feel heavily micromanaged at times, with a strong emphasis on monitoring productivity and employee activity. Office politics within leadership can also negatively impact morale and overall workplace culture. Employees who thrive in highly structured, stable, and process-driven environments may find the pace and operational style challenging.

Pros

A company full of fantastic people. My time was incredibly positive. They really prioritize cultivating talent within the organization, which is unfortunately rare nowadays.

Cons

No major cons. Benefits and pay are both very generous.

Pros

Some employees were hardworking, but the overall environment outweighed the positives.

Cons

I would not recommend working at Physicians Revenue Group based on my experience. The environment felt chaotic, unstable, and lacking in transparency. Communication from leadership was often unclear, expectations were not consistently defined, and employees were not always given clear metrics or direct feedback about where they stood. One of the biggest concerns was the lack of job stability. In my opinion, employees could be left unsure about their future because concerns were not always communicated directly or professionally. Roles appeared to be handled in a way that felt confidential and behind the scenes, including situations where a position could be advertised externally without the employee having a clear understanding that their job may be at risk. The culture also felt inconsistent when it came to accountability and advancement. Career progression and opportunities did not always appear to be based on clear, fair, or transparent standards, which contributed to a sense of favoritism and distrust. Overall, this was not a healthy or secure work environment. Anyone considering a role here should ask very direct questions about performance expectations, communication, job stability, advancement practices, and how leadership handles employee concerns before accepting an offer.
