Pros
The people in the Court system were intelligent and mostly great to work with, including Judicial Officers, Administrative staff, Clerk's Office, jail Deputies, Prosecutor's Office and Department of Assigned Counsel. The content was challenging and very diverse.
Cons
The system was burdened with the highest case count to employees to process them in the state. Long hours without breaks and employees not claiming comp time after also working through lunch was the norm even though it was directly contrary to labor laws, due to the expected workload. If too many comp hours were reported and accrued, Administration mandated use of accrued hours, yet expected the same amount of work to be accomplished. The Clerk's Office staff and Deputies had a Union to enforce labor laws while the remainder of the system did not.
