Pros

Great products, great field team, good work/life balance

Cons

No opportunities to grow within your role or progress up. Development training is very limited. Almost cult like in their approach to development. Only internal training on the Pierre Fabre way. Smart people are ‘dumbed down’ and not encouraged. Pay increases are minimal, if any. Do not cover inflation increases. They longer you are with the company the more you go backwards financially. Processes are slow and tedious. Too many meetings and still not much is achieved. Being a not for profit organisation, there is Always a challenge with having enough money to get ahead. If you can accept all of the above and more, its a good basic company to work for.

Pros

One of the positives of the role was the company itself—the products were strong, I really liked the flexibility in the hours, and the commute and location were very convenient. There were also a lot of good options nearby for food, which made the day-to-day experience more enjoyable.

Cons

That said, there were definitely challenges within certain departments that made things harder than they needed to be. Communication wasn’t always consistent, and at times there was a lot of micromanaging and internal tension that made collaboration difficult and slowed things down. It wasn’t the easiest environment to work in, but it did make it clear to me the type of culture I work best in, one with clearer communication and better alignment across teams.
