Pros

Great money, fast money, reliable pay, vast training with competent professionals at the Pilot HQ in Mobile; They always have work; Online training; Very organized and structured company; Benefits keep improving; Long hours and 6-7 days per week work. Some people wrote this as a cons, but if I am away from my family, I prefer to work as much as possible. They do not set you up for failure; I have heard they are beginning to discuss possibility of remote assignments, which would be awesome; It is a great company with a lot of potential.

Cons

Some managers are very tolerant of discriminatory and racist comments. Uneducated managers (not all, but some) who speak improper English within a professional environment. We was, I ain’t, etc Floor trainers within assignments who are completely clueless on actually adjusting a claim. They know their car parts, roof measurement, or how the system works, but have no idea on how to interpret a policy, or avoid a bad faith claim. *** They place family members working together: Son manager with a father supervisor, or husband manager and wife supervisor and so on. I find this inappropriate and, somehow unethical. I understand it is nice for family to stay together in this line of work, but you are placing your employees in a very uncomfortable position when family members are both in a leading position. ** You need to stay deployed for at least 3 months, but they give preference to the ones who stay until they are released from the assignment. ** Be ready to spend a lot of hours with some very dysfunctional people. Remember that a lot of these people are people without roots, who travel around the country, and spend long years away from their families. For me, this could also be placed under the Pros, as I enjoy getting to know all those different personalities. They make the long hours pass faster.
