Pros
For the most part, Pilot is a great place to work. The people are fun to work with and willing to help you grow professionally. The compensation and other benefits are quite good as well (akin to what you would expect out of a much larger firm). The work itself strikes the balance of being engaging and challenging, yet not overwhelming.
Cons
Pilot has been run a certain way by the same handful of personnel for years, most of whom are highly change-averse. This can get in the way of making real progress, as egos often need to soothed/negotiated before new ideas can be discussed and innovative approaches to problems can be pursued.
