Pros
Pay is okay for Tucson, but the salary caps mean less room for growth. Working downtown is nice. It's an easy place to just coast, but that is also a Con.
Cons
Its disorganized. Upper management is out of touch with workers. If you try hard and do cool things or not, it doesn't matter because this organization has no ambition to improve, just to stay afloat. It can be hard to find meaning in the work. You never vest in retirement system, so no matches if you leave and move on. Merit raises dont exist, only promotions that you have to apply/interview for and county-wide raises. Despite all this, if you are lucky enough to end up on a good team, it can still be a good place to work.
