Pros

Benefits, Pension. Clinic staff work 4- 10's 7:30am to 6:00pm and rotating one Saturday approx. every 6 to 8 weeks. Closed on Holidays. The staff and managers love what they do and try their best to leave their clients and each other happy. Our previous Director is no longer with Pinal County Public Health and it seems to have really made a difference. We have had a lot of change in the past few years but are finally heading upwards. Moral is increasing.

Cons

Just like every job there are good things and bad things. It would be nice to have Saturdays closed and a pay increase, but that is something our managers/assistant director have no control over. Sometimes you get called the day of your shift and get redirected to another clinic but it's sort of nice at the same time because everyone is so nice.

Pros

It was exciting to see such a smooth onboarding process for employees. For a rural county I believe they are doing what they can to their best efforts. The County is technologically advanced. The culture is great, I was welcomed into a new transition period and was able to accumulate quickly and provide assistance for the department as needed.

Cons

Turnover is high and frequent. Which means picking up the slack to help the department.
