Pros

Health benefits now offered to part-time employees.

Cons

Extreme & constant bullying by co-workers and supervisor, no accountability, lack of leadership, supervisory retaliation from concerns raised, and law bending/breaking. People with high ethics & integrity, who are intelligent, honest, law abiding citizens, this county organization is not for you. Teamwork is non-existent. Assigned/ expected workload is ridiculously high. Do not expect a raise, promotion, recognition, or praise. Frequent mistakes by payroll of underpayment. Nepotism is very high. Little to no chance of being hired unless you are perceived as Hispanic..

Pros

It was exciting to see such a smooth onboarding process for employees. For a rural county I believe they are doing what they can to their best efforts. The County is technologically advanced. The culture is great, I was welcomed into a new transition period and was able to accumulate quickly and provide assistance for the department as needed.

Cons

Turnover is high and frequent. Which means picking up the slack to help the department.
