The county has some really good opportunities to offer whether its benefits or even the ability to promote within the county, learn a new trade along with the great opportunity to meet new people

Cons

The pay for positions does not match with the role expected based off experience or none at all you're paid the bare minimum. The pay should at least match the cost of living. If I did not have a second job I could not make it off the pay.

It was exciting to see such a smooth onboarding process for employees. For a rural county I believe they are doing what they can to their best efforts. The County is technologically advanced. The culture is great, I was welcomed into a new transition period and was able to accumulate quickly and provide assistance for the department as needed.

Cons

Turnover is high and frequent. Which means picking up the slack to help the department.
