Getting to see all the lovely animals. Meeting a diversified group of people. Interesting and challenging.

Cons

Poor training. Out of date policy and procedures manual. Asked to change work days and then told my services were no longer needed at the end of 4 weeks.

Pros

It was exciting to see such a smooth onboarding process for employees. For a rural county I believe they are doing what they can to their best efforts. The County is technologically advanced. The culture is great, I was welcomed into a new transition period and was able to accumulate quickly and provide assistance for the department as needed.

Cons

Turnover is high and frequent. Which means picking up the slack to help the department.
