Pros
- Best colleagues I've ever had - Ok benefits (urban sports, home internet, 2 lunches/week, small home office and L&D) - Nice office - Remote-ish (they seem to want you to come into the office more and more, but don't actively check that you do) - Work/life balance, if you push for it
Cons
- Uncompetitive (and not adjusted for inflation) salary - Salary tied to location (at least if you move to a cheaper country) - No growth (either career or salary) - Looks like profitability is a long way off (if ever) - Unsecure/demotivating environment (fear of layoffs, threatening HR) - Limited room to travel and a restrictive budget - *VERY* US-centric: Planet tries to brand itself as a global company, but it's clear that the only people and positions that matter are in the US. - No works council in place - Moving abroad is a mess, remote working is only possible if you stay in a country where they already have an office.
