Pros
Some nice coworkers and some great clients. Great for first three years of experience but then need to go elsewhere.
Cons
When interviewing, they say 2400 average work hours....try 2600 if not more. It's all political favorites and if you are from a merged in firm, you are seen as inadequate as compared to original Michigan p&m hires. Management (all Michigan originals and majority - over 90 percent men) act like Michigan area is the only area that can produce higher thinking individuals. Management transfers in there buddies and they are made equity partners within one year of transfer - even though they don't have a local network or book of business to support partnership......but they are from Michigan. Focus and choice is sold in proposals and Interviews but only a select few get to truly practice focus and choice. High billing rates but low low salary once reach in charge level and up. Save the money to pay partners and dangle the carrot for others who work 2500-2600 hours and receive less than 100grand because they don't make charge hour requirements.
