Pros

Here at Pluralsight, we really do have unlimited PTO, only 2 policies, 3 core values, and a culture that truly makes an impact in the world. At times, we can all get caught up in the hustle of everyday life and forget how good we have it here. I feel truly blessed to work here, around amazing people, and a culture that is second to none. Two weeks before my daughters due date in July, my wife and I found out that she would require surgery due to a heart defect that was found during an ultrasound. With this news, we had several emotions that went through our head, with one of the top being, “how was I going to be there for my family during this difficult time, while also making sure I took care of my work responsibilities as well?” After sharing the news with my team and leaders at Pluralsight, they immediately reminded me of the culture we have here, and encouraged me to take the time I needed to be with my family. Yes, most other companies would probably do the same, however, at Pluralsight they empower you to take the time needed at home so you can come be your best while at work. Culture at Pluralsight is not just a word people use to get publicity, we truly live it. EVERYONE at Pluralsight was so compassionate through this situation and gave me the time to be with my family. Thank you Pluralsight for having my back. My family and I will forever be grateful.

Cons

Like any growing company, there are always obstacles you need to overcome to get to the next level. The biggest obstacle here at Pluralsight , in my opinion, is cross-functional collaboration and communication. The good news is that our senior leadership is aware of this obstacle and has already put solutions in place to address the need.
