Pros

Working on a product experience team means you are challenged everyday to put the customer at the center of the work you are doing. This is the first tech company that I've ever worked for that really "gets it," from the senior leaders down to the individual contributors, we are all encouraged to put Human Centered Design at the core of all we do. The continuous discovery/continuous delivery means that work gets shipped, and you see your impact quickly. And the people I work with are open and supportive - always willing to share and help across teams. Work is fast paced so it's hard to get bored, and it's exciting watching the product as a whole evolve.

Cons

Because of the fast growth space is tight, and the office in South Jordan is often bustling. When I need to do deep work sometimes I'll work from home. I appreciate the flexibility, and I know that my manager is aware. I look forward to our new campus and team space.

Overall, people were fun but not many other positives in the old culture.

Cons

People thought the culture was an amazing thing but in reality, it was more a "fun" culture than an accountable and business centric culture under prior leadership. The company remained in start-up thinking for too long and not long-term business. If the old leadership is reviewed, we can see the stock price issue, layoffs at a time when the leaders were well compensated, poorly managed PE, but former employees will say the culture was fine. It was a fun business but not a business where accountability was the strongest thing.
