Pros
At Pluralsight I enjoy tons of autonomy and a clear and noble purpose. Showing up to work has never been so easy. Our company is united in one cause - to democratize professional training around the world. In other words, we are making world class training available to people, helping them to develop a competitive skill-set that will enable them to pursue their passions, dreams and a livelihood. That is the biggest benefit at Pluralsight. The management culture is one of autonomy and creative testing. We are encouraged to consistently innovate and problem-solve. There is no fear here. Starting with the executive team, there is a passion and responsibility to work hard, share ideas and push the limits. That culture spreads contagiously throughout the company. On a more material level, I enjoy unlimited PTO, awesome compensation, great healthcare benefits, a very flexible work-life balance and consistent encouragement to seek out training and education that will allow me to grow my skills and areas of interest.
Cons
With all of this autonomy comes great responsibility. If you want a 9 - 5 job where you show up, block out the world, do your assigned tasks and go home without working with others, then don't work at Pluralsight. When your coworkers are constantly innovating and collaborating with the team, you feel the responsibility to give your all as well. We enjoy a sense of urgency and passion for innovation on a day-to-day basis.
