2yThank you for the review. I'm glad to hear that you've found value in your manager's guidance and support, as well as in the collaborative environment of your team.
I understand your concerns regarding communication around staff reductions and the subsequent impact on trust within the organization. Although we always strive to be as transparent as possible with team members, there are certain things we cannot disclose until we implement them. Sensitive topics like reductions are planned with a great deal of thought and care,and most leaders won’t be looped in beforehand unless their teams are directly impacted. However, I acknowledge the need to continue transparent communication and the importance of rebuilding trust, especially in light of recent events.
Regarding compensation concerns, I’d like to call out that the only total rewards program that was paused in 2023 was merit. We ran two promotion cycles, as planned, in both 2022 and 2023 and we also paid a percentage of company bonuses for both years to team members participating in those programs. In the coming months, we’ll run merit and promotion programs to reward team members for their ongoing contributions.
I recognize the strain that increased responsibilities can place on teams. I encourage you to continue sharing your concerns with your manager and leadership. By working together, we can identify solutions to ensure that teams are adequately supported and that your contributions are recognized and rewarded fairly.
