Pros

Nice office with great views of the freeway and mountains - Fair amount of tools to do your job well - Unlimited drinks if you like soda or energy drinks - Not bad snacks - Gym access - Good parking options - The music in the Restrooms is elite - The product is simple and easy to learn - Large addressable market in general, but it's not a "good" fit for everyone like they think it is. - It would be a harder sell if we didn't leverage our connection to Google as much. Without it, we are just another platform. Quite a few nice and smart people.

Cons

Brodium through and through. Could be worse but hard to beat. - Managers are usually managers if they fit under the Brodium umbrella. Good luck getting into management if you aren't a bro, went to BYU, or spent time at Qualtrics. I can count the number of females in leadership at Podium faster then you can read one of these sentences "0". They blame the demographics of Utah, but the last time I checked Utah has incredible females ;) The managers are naive and quite honestly not good. Their value add is to tell us to call more, say value more on calls, or call more... Oh I already said that. A favorite on slack is when one of the managers tries to motivate us. Just about all of us want to tell you to kindly shut up, please. The product is fine. It's not special. The best thing about Podium right now is their payment tool. It seems to work and is getting better. Without that, I just don't know what would have happened. A 6 week diversity class simply was lip service. Honestly, I could go on and on about most of the managers, but I won't.

Pros

Great coworkers, lower-middle management, product, PTO “unlimited” which isn’t true but does allow flexible usage, generous 2 days off for many holidays, and catered food ~3 times a month, regularly stocked fridge with energy drinks, soda, and water.

Cons

Top down leadership disconnected from sales and customer success team. Little coordinated efforts between nearly every department. Overhauled the pay structure Jan 2026, getting rid of the performance based promotion and pay scaling. Preventing OM’s from making the advertised 77k leading to many of us now stuck at 60k or 66k w/ a horrible annualized raise schedule (high performers not getting raises left waiting for potential raises that likely won’t come this year). Nearly nonexistent HR that is hard to get in communication with.
