Pros

Point is on an upward trajectory, and their product is massively helping homeowners every single day. I've heard countless positive experiences from customers and they are on a mission to expand access across the entire country. All that aside, this is a fintech company with a heavy focus on Engineering and Development. The company has dedicated significant time and resources to hire top notch Engineering leaders and team members from some of the biggest tech companies in the world. Things move fast and this isn't a top heavy organization, so if you're looking to build great products while helping homeowners tap into their home equity in a unique way, this is definitely the place for you. You're expected to be creative and voice your opinion.. because it matters. The founders have a clear vision of what they want this company to be and they are fully invested in it's success. You aren't just a number here, but a valued part of the company that provides unlimited opportunities should you choose to pursue them.

Cons

Some extremely difficult decisions had to be made to preserve capital and set the company up for long term success. Unfortunately this meant losing some amazing people.

Pros

- The Recruiting process was exceptional. Everyone I met with was warm, smart, and genuine. The recruiting team went the extra mile and provided a level of white glove service that is not commonly seen, they made such a strong positive impression of the company when I was a candidate. - Impressive and fun onboarding that will set you up for success - Transparent and authentic leadership. You will know what's going on with the company and overall health. - GROWTH- Wow there is a lot of growth. Point has hit record breaking numbers and there is a buzz here. - Brilliant and supportive coworkers who genuinely help each other. It's a team environment. -Strong, fun culture with a real sense of belonging. - IMPACT- The work here is very meaningful where I know my work is making an impact for our customers (homeowners). We are helping solve a major issue that a lot of homeowners face (being house rich, but cash poor). Hearing the stories homeowners share are truly heartwarming as we are making a difference in their lives. - Company genuinely cares about people and growth. It's rare these days, but it's here.

Cons

- Due to the velocity of growth, there are some processes that are still being created and/or optimized. There will be some ambiguity and you'll have to navigate that. We are encouraged to provide ideas and help solve things along the way.
