Pros
It does have all the things that people mentioned about, like good pay and benefits, absolutely smart and fantastic teams and managers, but no doubt it has much more than that as well. For junior you sure can get tons of opportunities to learn new and innovative technologies as you will be well supported and helped and for seniors it's also a great place to explore your next career stage. The company does care about the people during the pandemic as well, being flexible and you can tell they are trying very hard to create a very supportive environment. Policies and systems are being actively approved and updated. I'm not sure why some of the comments are so harsh and critical of the company's work life balance and management, but I think a grown-up may understand that a startup needs to go extra miles and strive to get to the top in an extremely competitive industry, and I am actually feeling relieved by knowing that the company is being assertive and are constantly fighting to be the best. I also love the strong culture and aggressive vision. People are sharing the same target and appreciating the opportunity ahead of us. And that's the power you can touch if you believe in what you do at Pony.ai. Besides that, as far as I know, the management team regularly reviews complaints within the team and makes improvements accordingly. I myself sometimes am not comfortable either about a company decision or policy, and I always go communicating with the team. I understand it's a startup and its management system is no perfect yet, giving feedback can help them approve. That's what "grow with the company" means I guess.
Cons
WLB sometimes tough to manage as you may need to work in different time zones but you have the flexibility to figure that out for yourself.
