Best place I’ve worked at this far - Community Associate Poshmark Employee Review

Pros

I only worked at Poshmark for about 9 months before deciding to move out of state. The community - core support was by far the best department and the most fun. I made some great friends within the department, gained weight thanks to catered breakfast/lunch everyday, amazing culture and dog Friday’s!

Cons

Management seems to switch their initiative based on which way the wind blows that day. Ultimately the focus is on CSAT which needs to be green every week or they start to drop the hammer. Sometimes seems like a free for all with management. Can be a bit cliquey and people tend to spread rumors about others. Try to find the employee that drenches employees with spit.

Pros

Live selling and community shares make it a great place to sell items while also building a brand for yourself and your own community of supporters.

Cons

Recent leadership changes have replaced the "community" aspect with AI algorithm and lost the charm that many long-term users have previously stayed for. The lack of communication with every new change or app update between the company and the users is pushing people away to other apps.

Pros

- Work life balance is decent (for now, might change) - Free daily lunch

Cons

- Culture Shift: Do not rely on historical reviews. The executive transition in late 2025 fundamentally altered the day to day work environment. - Lack of Clarity: Strategic direction from the top is highly fragmented, leaving team ownership and individual accountability confusing. - Stagnant Mobility: Professional development has stalled, with minimal internal investment in employee career growth. Post Acquisition Friction: Following the acquisition, the corporate environment has shifted toward a rigid, highly bureaucratic, and top down operational style. Low Psychological Safety: Organizational changes have significantly eroded trust and psychological safety across teams.
