Good pay but zero benefits - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Positive Behavior Supports Employee Review

Pros

Good pay - started out at 22/hour and they raised me to 24/hour within less than a year without me asking for a raise. If you get an intentional and experienced BCBA you will have a great experience but if you get one who doesn't care about the job or being intentional you will be more on your own.

Cons

Drive time - sessions are in-home and clients can be far away from each other. No benefits at all - no insurance or time-off. If a client cancels or you need you need time off it will be unpaid. Great job while in school or if you're not living off one income but can be hard as a full-time job

Pros

They have a great system for student analyst as well as for analysts, and RBTs, you can choose the cases you support that bets align with your lication and set of skills. The leadership team is extremely helpful. The communication system tgey have created with the app is great and easy to use

Cons

You have to create your own notes, there is only one company wide meeting a quarter per area and sometimes there are changes taking place in the ABA like with insurances or new requirements and a lot of times we do not find out until later. Also for the meetings I think it will be really helpful to record them and then if someone can not make it to be able to have access to the recording as a lot of times the RBTs can not miss their sessions
