      Pros

      Positive environment, great training provided. Very rewarding job as you make difference in these children's lives. Lots of earning potential for BCBA and moderate to good for the behavior therapists. Get to make your own schedule and pick your clients based on their insurance.

      Cons

      Hard to make boundaries between you and the families as you are in home. Also the status as an independent contractor means you have to pay more in taxes and the benefits offered aren't that great.

      Highly flexible schedule with the ability to create and manage your own caseload.Independent work environment with a high level of autonomy and trust. Ability to organize your day based on your clients' needs and your own schedule.

      Cons

      Limited workplace culture and team connection. Work can feel isolating due to the independent nature of the role. Can be challenging to receive immediate feedback or support since most work is completed independently.
