Pros

I get to work on some really exciting tech with some of the smartest people around the country, including my amazing client list. This company is for entrepreneurial types who can do a job with autonomy, efficiency, and don't mind putting in a few extra hours per week to get their work done. The home office perks are nice too.

Cons

Office is fully remote, so missing "water-cooler" talk.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and highlighting your amazing client list! You are spot on - everyone here at Postscript is given a high degree of trust to do their best work without the need for micromanaging or clock monitoring. Things move very fast here and change often which requires a team that stays on their toes and dives right in regardless of direction. We hear you on the "water-cooler" talk and recommend jumping into our fun side channels such as the "Random" channel or our niche channels for gamers, foodies, parents, and more. Also, throw some coffee chats on your calendar each week and invite someone new to just hang out for a bit! This may help bridge the gap between those in-office chitchats and the remote work environment. We have many great upcoming initiatives and will continue to think of ways to add more insight and tracking! So happy you are here and thriving. -Cailee

Pros

Amazing colleagues. Lots of smart team members willing to come together to find a solution or offer recommendations to be customer first.

Cons

- LOTS of layoffs. Bound to happen in tech, but in less than two years there were multiple rounds of layoffs, including a larger RIF - Like other reviews mention, lots of emphasis and power given to senior leadership with shady/limited comms shared to the rest of the team. They claim there are cutbacks (above mentioned layoffs), yet senior leaders are on offsites a few times a month. - Pay is not on par with industry standards and hard to get meaningful promotions based on the corporate competencies structure they expect you to follow. Yet, many roles have blurred lines and responsibilities that don’t fall in line with their competency structure. - If you are not buddy buddy with senior leader and/or in a role that draws a lot of company attention or impact, good luck trying to advance or be given new opportunities you express interest in. - As other reviews mention, they do not operate as a mature startup and still seem to fly by the seat of their pants
