Pros

Opportunity to make a somewhat decent wage, especially if you have no higher education or industry skills.

Cons

Extremely long hours and a mandatory commitment to at least 2 weekend days of work per month. Work can be mentally and physically exhausting. Very high turnover and only a very small percentage of employees can tolerate the demands long enough to reach the upper echelons of the company.

Pros

The training and support are second to none. There is a clear investment in developing employees, and leadership is always available to coach and help you improve. The culture is competitive in a healthy way—everyone is encouraged to perform at a high level, but one person’s success doesn’t come at the expense of someone else’s. There are plenty of opportunities for advancement if you’re willing to put in the work, and I appreciated being trusted with growth opportunities early in my time here.

Cons

The performance standards are high, and the role isn’t for everyone. It can be stressful at times because your results are measured closely, but the expectations are communicated clearly.
