Best place I've worked - Network Engineer Practice Fusion Employee Review

Pros

Supportive management that challenges and supported ideas we have to improve infrastructure. Some of the smartest people I've ever worked with. Freedom to experiment and invest in projects to build cool stuff. Focus on "resume-driven tooling selection" to choose cutting-edge products to keep the engineering team sharp and skilled. This keeps us all on solid footing in terms of skills which is very, very much appreciated. Freedom to work from home, and work the hours that work best for me is fantastic. Work isn't measured by hours in the office (or in the "office" for WFH employees), but by output. Compensation is excellent. Strong focus on employee growth and happiness.

Cons

The AllScripts integration has brought some more negative, bureaucratic culture with it. Their typical big-company IT systems are inflexible and difficult to work with. AllScripts benefits aren't as good as Practice Fusion benefits were. There is some disconnect between the infrastructure teams and product development teams. There are a few folks that work hard to bridge the gap, but they can become a bottleneck and have to work extra hard to challenge the siloed culture.
