Pros

- Cool engineering and design discussions, lots of learning - Some people were nice - My direct management team was always very respectful and encouraged me to network and pursue any growth or learning opportunity - Opportunity for growth, as there is such a high turnover - Compensation and benefits

Cons

- Lack of training and knowledge transfer - A lot of people were really mean and unprofessional - Poor talent retention, which causes loss of important knowledge and information about projects - Constant layoffs and "restructures" have caused some people to be extremely overloaded with work - The "survivors" of those layoffs or restructures to departments have some sort of collective trauma that makes some of them to be paranoid, not willing to share any information or training - This lack of communication/knowledge transfer/information makes it very difficult to make things right, as there are too many gaps or things that are not right - Whenever you point this out, in an effort of doing things right, management will dismiss you and encourage you to continue doing things that you are unsure of. This is very risky, specially when you are working with changes to jet engine parts. This is the main reason I decided to quit, as I didn't want to be part of it. - A lot of people like to play political games, it seemed to me like what matters is who you know and who likes you, and not your performance. This is reason #2 of why I left. I prefer transparency and being measured based on my performance.

Pros

Flexible work week. As long as you reach 40 hours for the week, doesn't matter when you come/go each day. Food is pretty good.

Cons

Quick growth to P3, but growth after that stagnates/fails to be competitive in salary

Pros

Great Benefits. Competitive compensation. Recognizes hard work. Engagement events.

Cons

Too politically correct. Need straight forward feed back instead of don't want to make things awkward conversations. Big corporate obstacles to getting work done.
