Pros

Data quality and access is a problem at every company in the world, so the opportunities are great.

Cons

The sales management team doesn't know products, doesn't know what we solve for, and outside of talking in general about what we do, could never run a sales call. They manage SFDC and ensure it's accuracy. Ensuring every required field in understanding "positive business outcomes" - "negative consequences" are filled out. You would expect marketing to put together events that solve business problems, or collateral that's vertically focused with business problem resolution - but no... it's all product focused. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
