Upper management doesn't have a clue how to manage or sustain good performance. Bonuses are kind of a joke because performance is always in the crapper, which doesn't help that corporate sets goals that are unattainable. They just want to pad their own pockets. The little guys always get screwed. No incentives for consistently good work. Career development stalls once you're established (maybe after a year or two), raises don't happen very often (you have to pester supervisor constantly). No sick days, it comes from PTO.
