Good place to work if (a) you're a natural politician or (b) you don't plan to get into management. - IT Senior Manager Premera Blue Cross Employee Review

Pros

If you have a lot of initiative and ambition, you can build a career around your own strengths. The line employees are great - professional, supportive, openly share information. Competitive salary and benefits. Good location for anyone who lives north of Seattle. Free parking.

Cons

No one is ever good enough -- unless they happen to be some manager's favorite. There's a LOT of politicking and silo priorities in the senior ranks. Initiatives, strategies, projects start and stop constantly depending on who won the latest round in the C suite. Directors and above are hyper critical of each other's employees, often in public settings.

Pros

Remote job Good pay Decent Benefits

Cons

Overbearing, toxic management who don't really care about you as a person and your health, it's all about getting those numbers, I'm guessing that is how they receive their bonuses. People on the "team" who are not nurses makes you question why they needed some that were RN's. Unclear goal, unsure what it is that this position actually does for their members. Micromanagement.
