* Understaffed Engineering Dept (to many layoffs) * Fixed Mindset organization, so no-one asks any real questions at staff meetings; they don't want offend anyone because the person may not know the answer; or, the person asking the question may be interpreted/misclassified as not knowing anything. Sometimes people asks questions to challenge folks to come up higher in their thinking rather me just telling them what to do or what the answer is. * There is a tendency for some folks to hold grudges, and it may be difficult to change their perceptions of you once formed.
