Pros
Most positions are telecommuting. There are medical benefit option(s) depending on where you live. PTO is not something you have to decide an entire year in advance, and there is a Retirement plan that kicks in after a year of employment
Cons
The intro into this company will have you believing employees are recognized and valued, but the reality is its just like any other corporation. The "favorites game" starts at the top and from the very beginning. The Training Department has zero regard for internal feedback. They just accept and expect people newly hired on to quit their classes in enormous numbers without making the correlation this is directly due to their Instructors and the methods they implement as the standard. Any changes or new ideas (Challenging Convention) are only allowed by a choice few. Their primary focus is on cameras, counting BRBs, and tracking logins down to the minute. How well everyone understands the actual material and if they can handle subjects on their own is not as prioritized as "tracking and reporting behaviors". If you get passed the Training, depending on which department you are in, you may or may not be able to reach out for assistance if you have questions. Provider Services is being outsourced and has next to no support for their people who have questions. They are basically on their own and left floundering even though the extremely negative affects have been brought to leadership's attention. Should you be ushered into a member services department, you may get better support for inquiries, but the nitpicking on call quality can become extreme. How well you do is highly subject to the person reviewing your call. Some of them have no prior Associate Support or Call Quality experience in the department they were actually trained in, let alone across all lines of business. There are also some who will take pride in finding something wrong, no matter how redundant, or miniscule. And of course like all corporations, if you bend over backwards to prove you are capable of more than just the entry level position you were hired on for, be ready for the reality check of "Well Placed/Meets Standards". The list of everything you did to go over, above, and beyond will mean nothing if the Team Lead you are under doesn't favor you in the position you are in. You can have all the experience, aptitude, and drive needed to succeed but never be allowed to move on from the role you were originally hired for
