Pros
* Good PTO (but if you use it, you'll be coming back to too many messes to clean up that it wasn't worth taking time off in the first place) * Remote work (really helps to be at home when crying several times a day from all the stress) * The benefits cover the anxiety meds I now need, in full. At least they understand what they are doing to their employees.
Cons
* CEO is a hand puppet * Rounds and rounds of layoffs are leaving those who have been kept anxiety riddled, afraid and overloaded with work. * Anyone "lucky" enough to keep their job now has completely different duties, most of which are so outside their wheelhouse that it makes everyday terrifying to get through. When someone is hired for a specific set of skills, forcing them to take on tasks in which they have no skills for does not make any sense. * Management is constantly changing priorities, and if you "can't keep up with the fast pace environment" your a problem. But the priorities changing are not part of any real plan, its them panic and patching up problems after eliminating so many positions in their departments. * Manager/Director roles only lead with empathy in quarterly and all hands meetings. Otherwise, if they are coming to you its because they need someone to use as their punching bag for an issue they aren't close enough to the work to understand.
