Pros

3 twelve hour shifts and 1 shift of 4 hours. Community outreach is successful.

Cons

No overtime. Benefits are mid at best. The pay is lower than most other hospital police jobs. The leadership is toxic, especially the new guy with lil man syndrome. Good ole boys club is alive and well. Admin does NOT have your back at all. Their miscommunication on training dates is apparently your fault. Half the upper management is sleeping with younger rookies. Its kind of a big swingers club. They change the policy every other Tuesday it seems. They would rather you wait to get get assaulted by someone before going into a use of force.

Pros

Great work life balance. Most people are very nice and enjoyable to work with.

Cons

It does not pay the most, but they treat their workers very well and give them lote of time off to make up for that.

Pros

Everyone is super kind, genuinely most people are very nice. The pay is very competitive. The flexibility in some departments to work remotely. There is also flexibility in schedules in other departments. They have a very inclusive and celebratory culture for the most part.

Cons

There appears to be a pattern within certain operational roles that is contributing to a less positive culture and caregiver experience. Holidays, and expectation of some to still be available outside of working hours.
