Pros

seemed like salary would have been fair, friendly and helpful tech support

Cons

disorganized recruitment, weird interview process, I applied for an open position, the recruiter asked some treatment based questions when I asked a clarifying question it was clear she didn't understand and just repeated her question louder and very curtly. She did not communicate there was a time limit on the questions she mailed (apparently expected completed within 24 hrs) not just prior to interview. When I got a chance to read the email it was 10 minutes before it was "due" in my hast to finish I mistakenly missed a question-which they apparently just assumed I didn't want to answer (although I answered the epic questions before and after it). The interviewer made some assumptions about my skills and professionalism rather than asking more questions. I've been practicing for many years I was comfortable asking/answering questions. Despite me accommodating a very early morning interview time which worked for them, which was preceded by a unexpected 6 ish am call from the tech department the recruiter left no explanation in a you didn't get the job message on my cell. When I called to ask why recruiter said my dog "participated" in online interview (he walked behind me on screen one time) and I was too "casual" (whatever that means). Then the same recruiter emailed me weeks later to see if I was interested in a open position?? I'm pretty sure it was the same position. What the heck! Feel like I dogged a bullet! Save your time and look elsewhere!

Pros

+ the colleagues I have worked with are delightful and driven to serve the students + my teammates are helpful and willing to pitch in + work life balance depends on the school season but overall manageable for being fully remote + company presentations are informative, highly scripted, and professional

Cons

- annual raises are stingy and below the inflation rate - the executive team and next level down leadership team are constantly turning over, which is exhausting - every c-suite title leader has changed in the last three years except for the CEO - the company strategy is unclear and my team's responsibilities have several times - it's clear that some teams are favorited way more than others (look at who they're hiring) - DEI has all but disappeared since the Chief People Officer left a few years ago
