Pros

Working with the most resilient people.

Cons

Engagement surveys should speak volumes but there is no accountability coming from the top. To be frank, the COO has destroyed every department, created mass chaos, demonstrated poor decision making and rather than addressing the problem at hand the company watches their top talent find positions that will actually value their input and worth. There is a ton of gaslighting and manipulation going on from leadership. I question everyday why I’m staying and am just waiting for the right opportunity to come along to get out.

Thank you for your feedback. We agree that resilience is a 'pro' for our peeps at Presence. We are committed to supporting our employees, providers, customers, and students. In doing so, we must be agile and comfortable with change. Our COO is one of 250+ corporate employees and 2,000+ providers working to provide solutions to empower all who serve children with diverse needs. Additionally, our recent engagement survey showed that some of our Operations teams are our most engaged employee populations. We know our peeps value transparency, and in an effort to maintain an inclusive and supportive culture, we must lead by example. Earlier this month, our CEO provided an update on our goals and the actions we're taking to address the few opportunity areas based on our most recent engagement survey. We would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly to better understand your specific feedback and see how we can best support you.

Pros

+ the colleagues I have worked with are delightful and driven to serve the students + my teammates are helpful and willing to pitch in + work life balance depends on the school season but overall manageable for being fully remote + company presentations are informative, highly scripted, and professional

Cons

- annual raises are stingy and below the inflation rate - the executive team and next level down leadership team are constantly turning over, which is exhausting - every c-suite title leader has changed in the last three years except for the CEO - the company strategy is unclear and my team's responsibilities have several times - it's clear that some teams are favorited way more than others (look at who they're hiring) - DEI has all but disappeared since the Chief People Officer left a few years ago
