Pros
Good health care, 401k, dental benefits. I worked in managed services. From what I saw, it appears that the sales and professional services side of the business worked very hard (nights, weekends) but they appear to have very low turnover and are very well paid.
Cons
No annual reviews. No raises once you are in the door, so ask for the very most you think you can get at hiring. Some managers feel completely free to shout at you and even yell obscenities. Some team members will work from home and skate along on a minimal load, and other team members will be swamped. You are on your own for professional development; no one goes to training or school. The model is to hire people with the least credentials possible (depending on job) so that they can pay as little as possible. Managed Services is a struggling piece of this company's business, and the industry is crowded. Management solution for this problem is to load the pressure directly onto subordinates.
