Pros
Good exposure to top-tier tech partners which allows you to learn the best and worst of product lines for design and planning projects.
Cons
As a sales organization they are directed by sales goals, but management doesn't have a track record of planning to achieve goals in each of the technology areas that they represent. If you are not on the winning team then your income suffers and your ability to keep your job if you can't generate enough sales volume in the right areas. It is a sink or swim environment when it could be much smarter and better for all.
