Pros

Salary. Other than that - nothing.

Cons

No clear management, management doesn't understand what they want to do and what exactly they hire people for. No clarity in management Business communication and requirements are unrealistic and extremely vague. Colleagues are not willing to communicate, but if they don't like you, you'll be reported to HR. They report you for literally everyhting, e.g. just because you're human and talk like a human you'll be reported. For some reason nobody is able to talk and discuss face to face, they report you instead. A lot of gossip and discussion of your personality behind your back. Because of that nobody can be trusted and this attitude creates unwelcome and hostile atmosphere, not mentioning stress it puts on you because suddently you're not allowed to say anything and behave like a human. No clear processes, everything is urgent and "needs to be done yesterday". Attempts to set up proper processes and structure are seen as hostile. Obviously would be like that for people, who are used to having no structure and clarity at all. Some colleagues working overtime. There are very clear rules about overtime in the UAE and that it has to be explicitly ordered by the management, yet a lot of colleagues ignore these rules. That comes back to the lack of structure. General lack of discipline and clarity among the colleagues. Vague to none career perspectives. Ownership and leadership are discouraged. All colleagues work in a slave-like mindset, constantly questioning whether they are "allowed" to do things and shifting responsibility instead of owning the problem. Overcrowded office spaces. Little to no team-building activities outside of work. Beautiful picture outside and an awful rotten something inside.
