Pros

Easy job depending on what store you get fun Co workers.

Cons

They try to sell you the dream that you can make so much money if you work hard and become store manager. If you think working your way up for 2-3 years to earn 65k a year is "a lot" of money, your standards are low. You MIGHT make 100k as a regional manager if you have a good year and if they don't change the comp plan, but it's definitely not the norm to make that and that's STILL considered minimum wage for a sales job. For a beginner's sales job, it's not a bad place to work for a year or less. If you're a truly talented sales rep with a hunter's mentality, I'd say start selling like cars or home improvement. If you like hard selling to consumers, stick to high end ticket items like cars and home remodeling. These reps are truly making 150k a year every year. Working at prime is a college student job. It all depends on what you want out of this job, but don't expect a reap high earnings potential here.
